Melody Pike
2003-2004 State President

"Children in 1776" is a traveling exhibit that talks about toys and games, school, chores, home life, and children’s contributions to the war effort. The exhibit includes dolls dressed in period clothes and replicas of toys and games of the time period.

This exhibit was the 2003-2004 State President, Melody Pike’s State Project. To introduce C.A.R. and help bring membership up, this exhibit is still traveling around the state.

C.A.R., DAR, and SAR members are encouraged to arrange for a month in which the exhibit will be displayed in a library or school with brochures telling about C.A.R.
