Welcome Hello Indiana C.A.R.! This year for my state project, I’m raising funds for the Tamassee D.A.R. School in South Carolina. My goal is to raise $25,000 to build a swimming pool, for construction by the 2009 summer. I have visited Tamassee twice so far. While there, I have made a lot of friends and have been impressed by the great work they are doing there. I’m excited for a chance to help the Tamassee kids. This year’s dates for the state board meetings are:

• August 23, 2008 at my house in Shipshewana (pool party)
• October 11, 2008 at Mississinewa (re-enactment)
• January 17, 2009 at Indianapolis (laser tag)
• TBA

I would also be happy to come to any of your society meetings, or any DAR or SAR meetings too. So come and “swim with me to Tamassee” and have a great year!
