Hello Indiana C.A.R. This year for my project, I am raising funds ($2,000) to purchase a scale for the thrift shop at Tamassee. In case you were wondering, ‘what is the use of this huge scale’, it is so the thrift shop can weigh in the donations coming in to sell. Also, this year I would like you as C.A.R. to bring in donations for the thrift shop, but make sure it is new or lightly used and we will be collecting them at the board meetings. This year, for our state meetings, we will be having a “water” theme. The dates will are:

• August 25, 2007 at Mississinewa State Park (swimming)
• October 20, 2007 at Turkey Run State Park(canoeing)
• January 12, 2008 Indianapolis (ice skating)
• April 9-11, 2008 Trip to Tamassee
• April 11-12, 2008 State Conference (TBA)

If you would like for me to visit one of your society meetings, I would love to come. I hope to be seeing you all at the board meetings and at regional convention. Let’s SCALE new heights with C.A.R.
